At Open and Shut we believe that honesty, integrity, and quality workmanship are the three ingredients to a successful locksmith business. It is in that spirit that we present this web site and catalog. All of the descriptions herein are frank and honest. Eighteen years of experience lends us a vast product knowledge and a practical approach to security hardware. If you have any questions, feel free to call at any reasonable hour, keeping in mind that the after hours service is for emergency use only. We strongly believe in the old style of doing straight forward business with the consumer. No flash, no weekly sales bins. All prices (including field service) are marked well below retail, feel free to shop around. We feel that you'll give us another look. It is our hope that a square deal, especially when it comes to the acquisition and installation of security hardware, will have our customers coming back and referring us to their friends. Please check out our new metal works services we are so eager to extend to the public.

Sadly, too many immoral and opportunistic people have started sham locksmith companies, overcharging by as much as 10 times the average value of services performed. Said service is often times shoddy, requiring a real locksmith to make a second visit. We at Open and Shut have corrected faulty work by these companies personally, and found the customer to have paid in total more than a thousand dollars for something we would have charged sixty dollars. These licenses provide for a way to find a company in order to file a complaint against it and it's owners. While not all unlicensed companies are unethical, there are no means to regulate them and they can do whatever they want.
